Greg Dulli (for those of you who don't know) is/was the lead singer of the Afghan Whigs, and the Twilight Singers. He oozes this sultry sexualised adoration and love that just GETS me everytime, every song. I've said it before, I'll say it again.. PURE sex-onna-stick, but his sex is one that has meaning, that goes beyond simple flesh and temporary itches being scratched. Yum.

I can't say how much I love this song. The retro-60s wall of sound makes me inutterably happy, and the message of the song does as well. Stupid Boys. They'll never learn. I think, perhaps, this outfit may be worn for awhile. I am super happy with it *clicks save full outfit* lol

Two Looks

Today I decided to do a look mashup - to show you how investing in one piece can give you multiple looks, depending on how you accessorize it. In this case, I chose the Loose HalfPants from *anuenue (150L/colour).

For the First look, I layered a top also from *anuenue, Cotton Top in Clover (120L for two styles per colour). The hair is from the reopened LoveKitty (oL lucky chair), and the barrette is from Scribble (0L St. Pat's group gift). That is also where the pics in this first look were taken, while waiting for the famous Scribble Lucky Boards.


I capped off the look with Miel's new Ant Flats (220L/colour) and Tyranny's too cute Kick Me bunny backpack (0L - part of Bunny Hop gift).

For the next look, I was inspired, remotely I suppose, by Degrassi Junior High's Joey Jeremiah. If you don't know what show that is, you should find out. He featured in many a childhood daydream.

I slipped on MilkMotion's Loose Fawn Shirt (195L), and a scarf from Miel (0L previous group gift).

My hair is from Tiny Bird - Olivia (0L DSN gift) and the gorgeous hat is from Lelutka (0L St. Pat's group gift - join this group and stay put!).

Finally, my engineer boots are from M'z (0L lucky chair gift), and I'm wearing my usual Aitui armtubes. I tend not to repeat EVERYthing I wear, iof it is something I have blogged frequently (like my skin or piercings for instance), so if there's something you want to know about that I've not listed, please drop me a comment.

Hi, My Name Is JW..

and I'm an addict..

I think everyone who knows me at this point has noticed my slight infatuation with bunnehs. You know, the big kind you can sit on and cuddle (*coughs* scroll down in my blog for the exact moment my addiction solidified) Whenever I'm feeling lonely, or in need of a hug, and noone is around to appease the ache, I go and find one of these, and always feel better. HMPD is the creator of most of these awesome, eye-blinky, nose and ear twitchy BFFs, but there is also a sweet little calico patchy huggy version of unknown origin I've seen about and love equally. I've decided that my next few blogs will feature these wherever I find them on the grid - mostly cos I am of the Traveller family and own no land of my own (though I lust for a sweet little vardo somewhere like Hya once had on ~silentsparrow~ back in the day).

My first installment will be from Sanu's new home in Scribble - where I finished maybe the most fun, magical hunt I've ever done in SL. The gifts were mindbogglingly stupendous, and while I didn't take any shots of the actual gifts (cos A) I'm stupey and forgot to before I logged and B) everyone else and their sister blogged about them already so it's not like I'd be breaking any new ground there.) I DID take some that show just a touch of the beauty that is Sanu's new home.

This first shot is what I first saw when I tp'd into Scribble - Radio had changed her colour scheme for Valentine's day! The contrasting colours are just so striking. She is an artiist I admire greatly. (NOTE: I will be doing a Scribble product entry soon, cos I've been long amiss in my showing the incredible gifts she gives to her peeps). Hullo Valen-ghostie!


I then headed over to Sanu and gasped at how pretty her new store is! While getting sucked into the whimsy that is Sanura's hunts, I couldn't help but play on all the neat things she has around, including bunnehs!!


My hunt outfit consists of Rock Candy's Bambi hair (100L for a 6 colour pack), Thimbles' Henry Hybrid plaid shirt (20L for two versions, but only for a short time), Bingo's starry leggings (0L 5 pack), socks from Sn@tch's F'n Colourchange Leggings (lucky chair gift), flats from Kookie's (45L V-Day special.. so sweet!), and denim cutoffs from Project Kiwi (20L).

"I Go Out Walking... After Midnight.."

I spent nearly the entire day (night?) at a new beloved sim of mine called Scribble.. The whole time that song was running through my head.. AND I was playing with an awesome new toy I found for free at Burt Laundry (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Omotesando/134/221/32)

It's a Polaroid HUD!! You simply wear it, and place it, and your camera shot, where you want it to be, click change the Polaroid til you get your favourite texture and VOILA!! instant pictures! (no shaking required..).My favourite textures are the black ones, but there are at about six other textures to choose from, and they're all cute!

Back to the sim loverliness.. the whole sim is a mainstore for Scribble (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Scribble/69/28/2%3Cbr%20/%3E), whose clothing and fun things are a source of joy for me. Set in monochromatic black and white with pops of colour, i just knew it was the perfect place to play, and do a photo shoot..


Fleeing in fear after the tree's inhabitant startled me when while I was setting up a shot.

CC showed up just in time to see me chatting with the licorice kids ad couldn't help giggling, as she was fairly certain I was talking to myself.


Soon after CC tp'd in to play, we ran into the designer. Radio Signals. She was very gracious and sweet, but extremely busy preparing for a fashion show at a temporary garden she had built. (CC was our go to gal on that, and will be blogging about that next) Even though she had to run around and prep, she did take a moment out to chat and giggle with us, and give us a sneak peek of the creations she'd be debuting at the show later..


This jacket is called the Cozy Pullover (300L ea/900 fatpack ), and Radio is displaying the olive tone, paired with her bloomers (125L ea/325L fatpack). Her incredible, so fey hair is called Garden, and comes in so many colours (100L ea/1500 fatpack) Me WANT!!

She was also kind enough to display some lovely new skins by Animus, in the awesome greyscale tone, which I believe was given out to the attendees of the fashion show. I didn't get to go (cos the hub dragged me out of the house *cries*) but hopefully CC picked up a copy and will show it *pouts and kicks the dirt* Oh and I'm stupid and forgot to copy all of the information she told us about these skins, but I'll get the 411 asap.


I hope CC got some better shots so you can actually VIEW the skin, but I love these.. Doesn't Radio just look so beautiful!
