Robotic <3

So today I went wandering around the Harold sim, taking pics for the Starlust Flckr contest, and I loved my outfit so much I had to blog it! It all revolves around these two gifts from Reek! - the huggable robot from the Feed Your Head hunt, and the little guy sitting on my shoulder (0L group giftie from the 4th of July - still available to subscribo members I believe). Technically it attaches to your head, but I just did a quick prim adjustment. I can't get over their cuteness! Totally adorable...


All the pictures I have taken here were pictures for the contest (2 I used, 2 I decided to put here). I'm all for the two birds with one stone yaddayadda. So, they were taken around the Harold sim, and I had a lot of fun doing them! All of the poses (aside from the last pic - that's my Line AO) are from (pda).


The rest of my outfit consists of *anuenue's Plaid Half Pants (150L prev blogged), Reek's Ouch! bandaids (99L/fatpack), their Batman Belt of awesome (175L prev blogged LOTS) and their Hidden Temple tee (150L/fatpack - I'm wearing the Faded Orange Iguanas - remember the Nick TV gameshow?? heehee). I also have on Wot's Hair 0014 (1L Harold sim Gift), Sh*t Happens kneesocks (purchased loooong ago), kicks from A.Y.Y. (250L- but I see they have a Lucky Board with these in them as well), Skull F'd glasses from Liquid Candy (50L) and I'm wearing Eloh Eliot's Pleiades Skin in Electra (0L at the Gnubie Store).


Tell me this porta-john is not the standard to which all others must aspire? And yet also very nervous-making.

Fawny Love

Today OMGWTF of This Is A Fawn dropped the most beautiful dresses on me! I always squeee whenever I see she's released something new, and this was no exception. I'm in love with the slightly naughty floatiness. I've been flouncing around all day while struggling to take a decent shot *grin*. These dresses aren't released - YET - but they will be when she opens her mainstore (!!) on Saturday. Here's her NC detailing the fun:

The Leda dresses will retail at 140L/colour, and I think you absolutely need these. I might never take them off. In the first shot I am wearing the grey with my previously blogged lamb hair and boots. The second features the seafoam, with Pig Shop socks (0L group gift) and my favourite boots from Darkstar Designs (loooong since defunct, but still beloved by me), as well as the Rebecca hair from JUNWAVE (80L/colour). Finally I have the blush colour, which is paired with JUNWAVE's Sweet Lady hair (80L/colour), edge grafica's boots (now available for 1L instead of camping), and the same socks as shown with the grey.

So FINALLY my SL is back! *makes extreme yay arms* I've not been able to de-cloud for ages now, and then my inventory wouldn't load, etc etc etc. It all pretty much started that infamous day all of SL but the infohubs died. BUT I'm back now *knocks on wood, crosses my fingers and throws salt over my shoulder*. I will say just how completely insane it was to take these pictures. For some reason, I have to hold the camera waaay out just to take a picture that isn't an upclose of my torso. The fun part was having to take 10 test shots to figure where the camera was going to take the picture, THEN pushing graphics to Ultra to take the shot. Oh and pray that some *coughs* person doesn't come along and knock you out of the rafters not once but three times in a row (yeah I'm talking to you!! Grrrrr). Hopefully these pics are up to snuff! I have many more things to blog, if I can just get the picutres taken - you should be seeing some fun things coming up!


First up is my hair! it's the new release from lamb. I'm sure everyone has seen it plastered all over the feeds, and at the hair fair, but I just can't get over how gorgeous it is, and just how much it is a look I really wear. It's called Dog Roses (300L for 4 pk of colours), and formed the idea for this outfit.


My outfit consists of mostly new things that I just love. My sweater and socks are both from Pig Shop (75L and 25L respectively during Pig Shop's 4th Of July sale). The pants are from Sugarcube, and they are so perfectly textured (150L - I think I missed a sale though). I also have on Sugarcube's Ribbon Shirt (0L) under the sweater. My boots of extreme fabulosity come from Lya (0L hunt gift during the My Heart Belongs to Daddy Hunt at Retrology). I loooooove these boots. They come with/without black lace options.
